Stolen Defender & Tools

Postby LarryH57 » Tue Sep 12, 2006 9:51 pm

From the HMVF site:-

A highly regarded member of HMVF and a highly respected member of the MV community has had his life line stolen when thieves stole his Land Rover Defender last week. Fortunately, vehicle’s can be replaced – unfortunately the contents can’t.

Degsy had a life times worth of tools and equipment in the Land Rover and rumour has it that he may have to sell his WW2 GMC as he no longer will be able keep it as the loss of his tools means that he will no longer be able to keep to strict maintenance sceduals that these aged vehicles require. He said that it would cost many thousands of pounds to replace them all so his hobby could be at serious risk through this loss.

This would be a serious blow to the movement and a serious outrage if this were to happen. In hope that perhaps we can all salvage something out of this for Degsy please do keep a very sharp eye out for any of the tools below, yes it is a needle in a haystack but we have built a community here and lets see if we can help a member of it. Please find below the current list of tools and equipment that was stolen and if any one has any information, no matter how small the please do not hesitate to contact me – email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it
