my new 110 tum was stolen off my drive sometime between 11.30pm last night 20th sept and 5.30am 21st sept
im from a small village 10 miles from Doncaster

ive put on it a ATU box on the passager side front wing also aerial mast with cb aerial.
its military reg is 33 KG 00 which is stamped on the side of the drivers seat box.the engine which is a 2.5 dieseln/a is stamp by the MOD rebuild date 2003.

Sorry to hear about the theft mate!

I live in a small village in Lancashire and we had the same thing happen here over a period of a couple of years. The "Pikeys" come around the villages and even are necky enough to go onto the farms and take the Land Rovers away. A land rover breakers yard in Bolton went out of business after the police paid them a visit. They had containers full of land rovers which had been stolen.

Not that its much help to you but i always park two cars in front of my land rover to stop the pikey twats from doing the same to me

I'll keep my eyes open when i get home on leave though, you never know mate.

Don't give up hope - the police managed to recover a £400 unused lawnmower & some tools for me after a break in (very windy noisy night and alarm useless). However the Snap-On & Stahlwille & some quality woodworking tools were never recovered.
The police by law had to tell me the date of court case, I was interested to know just who the offender was so I went to the magistrates court on the day BUT 3 courtrooms and the court staff refused to tell me which room the case was to be heard ?
Around here 12 years ago there was a run on Transits stolen _ I understand they were being broken up for the healthy trade in engines for - guess what ?

well its been a few weeks now since Doug was found well the police have done there CSI thing and after two weeks its in the garage now for repairs new locks etc and Doug is having a full respray sometime next week so fingers crossed i`ll get Doug back sometime round the 19th of november.

The police sent me a letter saying they found the person(s) but no names sadly, and by call accounts he/they were going to court with quit a few TIC`s

AFAIK - the police must tell you the day and court he is to appear. Court staff will not tell you which court room he is to appear in / time of hearing. So you would need a person prepared to wait all day for each court room.

Read this evening in one of the London freebie papers that old cars are being stolen for there scrap metal value its seems that an old car is worth £200 scrap value.
So what a Land Rover is worth with the ally body and heavy guage metal chassis l do not know.
