Stolen 101

Postby LarryH57 » Sun Jan 29, 2006 10:38 am

Has there been any developments with regard to this 101?

I'm not sure how common it is for preserved MV's to be stolen and for what reason. A 101 is hardly the thing a boy racer wants.

I think there is a lesson for us all.

Stolen 101

Postby KentMk4b » Sun Jan 29, 2006 11:20 am

Some years ago I compiled a survey of all the remaining Centurion tanks in the UK. I located one in the Midlands and spoke to the owner. He was particularly keen not for me to disclose the whereabouts of the tank as there had been problems with theft. From vandals etc, I asked, no he replied, from people who know what they want, ie "military" people. A sad state of affairs, I thought.
