Gents started this thread with the aim highlighting new threats.In due course I expect EMLRA members to post their own concerns here as a primary source of information.
A general thread for all areas.
MY primary source is the TBM forum a place where members of the TRF come together.
TRF are by far the most active group of BYWAY users so as a source of information it is VERY current. They share 4x4 users concerns.However there are elements who see 4x4 users as a threat seeing us as (over weight) but to be fair we (4X4 users) counter by complaining of their speed and noise. Its common banter and could be compaired to the Paras having a go at the Booties If you can accept that you will find that the TRF colour on the field of Battle is a most welcome sight.

Although the CHUT battle was fought by Trail bike riders (if you look at the photos page 2) clearly 4x4 would not be able to get thru some places, The point is /was is that it was a BOAT / BYWAY therefore by law WE as 4x4 could use it. Wilts ran a dirty war on this if you take time to read it all then you will get a flavour as to why Stonehenge has to be stopped.
CHUT went on for a long time and cost Wilts A LOT OF MONEY.
It makes good background reading as there is a lot of LAW in there something you should bear in mind whilst on the lanes anywhere.

have a green lane that runs up to my land over 3m, cost me £20k to sort out. 10 to 20 4x4 use it each week, befor I paid out no 4x4 could use this lane. not one 4x4 that rips up this lane has ever stop to ask to help, the ruts are now so deep I cant get home ! all i will say is: If you green lane just think about who lives around them, that wee fram you pass on top of the hill needs this lane as its a life line
