There is undoubtedly an interest in Green Laning, not surprising really when you consider the vehicles we covet and cherish. This forum is here for discussion of routes, contemporary issues and the social side of things. Anyone not playing nice will have their tyres let down.

Yep, Pretty lucky to have that lot just outside the back gate. First time I've ever driven that overgrown bit of track, it was blocked till recently by 20 years worth of self-seeded trees but the landowners have cleared the big stuff, leaving a decent track - although the ruts left by their kit are impressive and hard to see - grounded out just the once. Luckily I was able to reverse out easy enough and take a better line to get forward.

Yes taking them off road is fun. Also cleans the oil off the bottom on the long grass and bends antenna supports on trees. And is far better than watching Wimbledon men's final. Although not quite as picturesque as Scotland Picture courtesey of my Nephew

Well at least you live in an area with some good options, or at least there were when I lived there 20 years ago. With weather this dry you are probably OK just to go for an evening trundle about without the likelihood of getting bogged. Research the RoW info so you are legal and have a shot, just steer clear of anything that looks too badly rutted or quagmire-ish I'd suggest - and that's good advice any time of year.
