There is undoubtedly an interest in Green Laning, not surprising really when you consider the vehicles we covet and cherish. This forum is here for discussion of routes, contemporary issues and the social side of things. Anyone not playing nice will have their tyres let down.

Good grief are they planning on putting an A road through there, that's as wide as any greenlane I've seen!

Wading kit/winterised 110 12/24 Ex 59 Independent Marine Commando Royal Engineers and yes it gets used greenlaning as well as at shows. Though not as often as I'd like.

They are quite wide i have to say at least on this lane... and as high up as you can be in the hills above oldham...they flood a little in places when its wet thou but generally just dry as a bone
Dont really tax the 4WD much thou but the suspension gets a bit of a rattling
cheers

Nice clean motor by the way. Wish mine looked that good, trouble is if you greenlane down here they tend to get scratched as well!

Hi Tom,
to be fair i am unsure if its near those places as i am fairly new to Oldham..
I know it as Lark Hill at the back of Dobcross, not far from the Saddleworth hotel...
