A friend was tidying up ( tidy up in the move things ) and came across two metal key vehicle disks that he acquired in the days of Ruddington Disposals

65 FK 41

39 FG 01

I wonder what vehicles they relate to ?

regards

Nick

39FG01 is probably a Rover 11 like mine. What do the tags looks like? I was wondering about getting something along those lines made.

Hello Merlin

I have not seen them yet but my sons FFR is an aluminium disc about 50mm with his reg number and type of vehicle

There was some discussion on the forum about these discs

No doubt someone will pop along and stick a link in

regards

Nick

Seems to be no hard and fast rule as to size shape or material ref tags.
Here's 3 I have.

1960's identification after incineration was important one has to presume :) - bet they are red asbestos , supplies seem to have run out by 1970's
