Somerset lanes

There is undoubtedly an interest in Green Laning, not surprising really when you consider the vehicles we covet and cherish. This forum is here for discussion of routes, contemporary issues and the social side of things. Anyone not playing nice will have their tyres let down.

Somerset lanes

Postby SidSanders59kb92 » Fri Dec 09, 2011 9:57 pm

It looks like I'm stuck in Somerset for the next 6 weeks suffering from the family, sorry being with the family. However I do have some relief in that I have Bessy... so next question.... lanes within striking distance of Wellington and Taunton? Bearing in mind I will be solo (okay I do solo daft things, but ... ) I would prefer lanes that are fun to drive, or interesting, but not too worrysome, a slight challenge, but one that wont go to badly wrong. Navigation is part of the fun.

Cheers!

If you have a suitable excuse , you could try and find your way to Warminster on the 27th for a run across the plains?
